I agree, I sent back a 9700 pro AIW card last year, and they didn't give me any issues at all. ATI is great with their RMAs. Those 9700 pros are still great cards, even to todays standards.

My X850XT only lasted 2 days before it borked, still waiting to get one back, but this was a sapphire card.

Glad to hear you are getting a replacement!

i hate all of you, lol, no not really. I dont really believe in ati's RMAs, i have had to use it twice. They dont give any info about the RMA through out the ordeal and they have taken for ever (4 weeks so far, most likely more)!!! I have emailed and emailed them and they just give me the run around. but i guess i have a question, how did ATI ship you all back your boards? my first time I used an RMA i sent it next day air and recieved it next day air but i was wondering if i send it ground will they return it by ground or air again?

Either you are really rough on video cards, have extroardinary bad luck, or ATI sent you cards that were already RMA'd to them!

I'm pretty sure they sent it ExpressPost to me, but then again, I live 20 minutes away from their head office, so it was quick. If you are in the US, there is at least 2 days delay for boarder related things I suppose.. but 4 weeks seems far too long to me.. I admit, they did not tell me much, and their online tracking system gave me no information, I received the card back before the tracking system was updated..

Am I the only one that has the song "Video Killed the Radio Star" running through his head when reading this thread title?

I know, i really dont understand it either. I dont overclock anything, so it must be they sent me an already refurbished card or God hates me, one of the two, lol!

HAHA...I never even thought of it. It's catchy though.

"VGA Cooler killed the video card"

    Brilliant!
