Just a little heads up though. The version have some issues with the NF4 chipsets, so don't use this version on that. We are working on new code for a new version.

I dont know what memtest is/does ....does it tweak your memory or tell ya what the best settings are for the memory installed?

It lets you tweak different timings in memtest and you can also see the unbuffered bandwidth. This way you won't have to reboot to bios and change things and then back to memtest. You basically change the timings on the fly. Saves hours, if not days, when you search for the sweetspot.

Pardon me if this is a stupid question however I was told that the only stupid question is the one you don't ask. Will this work with the prefab computers I have a HP Pavilion Media Center a1640n Desktop PC, it has an intel 965 chip (?).I know I can't tweak this machine using conventional methods.

Yes, if it's like original Memtest, it should work most any DRAM, including what's in an off-the-shelf PCs.
I dont know what memtest is/does
The most common usage of Memtest is as a tell to determine if RAM modules in the computer are good or bad.

LostSwede, thanks for posting this. This OCZ Memtest definitely goes in my kit bag.

It will not solve erectile dysfunction. Well, according to Prime, at least.
