"OCZ is pleased to continue the legendary performance achieved by the Winbond BH-5 memory components by acquiring chips manufactured on the identical process," said Dr. Michael Schuette, Director of Technology Development at OCZ Technology.

By "identical process", does that mean they ARE BH-5, or they are something else? If "something else", can you please clarify?

The process is the same as it was in the old days. So technically , it's the same memory. However, Winbond isn't producing DDR memory anymore. Another company bought them up a while ago.

As you probably understand, every memory manufacturer strives to have a PC3200 ram that does 2,2,2,5 at jedec specification (voltage), or at least very close to it. The old BH5 didn't do 3200 at 2,2,2,5 with 2.7 volts though and that's one of the new specs on the "new" BH5. Hope that helps :)
