Wow! This is a huge coup for the team. Muchos Gracias to General Keebler for scoring this for us. I know he worked his butt off to land this farm for us :)

I hope it's the coup I planned on. I'm still trying to light a fire under those machines to get them going quicker :)

good job Russell. As soon as i get my os installed and running i'll downoad the folding program and will be helping out as well. I was thinking bout trying to get my school to use their computers since they have around 100 computers but i would have to have a really good presentation. If someone wants to make me one i'll present it but i dont have the time to make one.

bikerboy, take a look at the video found here. There are some posters available there, too. Look under "Recruitment".

Good luck, man - getting your school Folding would be awesome. :D

bikerboy goes to the same high school i did. it's going to take more than those posters and my flash video :o They once sent Merriam Webster a 20-page memo to correct their definition of "bureaucracy". ;)

Get nekkid pictures of the faculty and blackmail them.

Alternatively, since they seem to be impressed by sheer volume, ("They once sent Merriam Webster a 20-page memo...") why not put together a collection of some of the technical papers Stanford has released on the subject, along with a general description of the project as a whole?

The nekkid pictures sound like a sure-thing, though.

Check out the Science of Folding page, (don't miss the links at the bottom).

The Results section is worth a look, too.

On top of that, the Reasearch Papers area has plenty of material which ought to impress them.

Maybe a nice little interactive presentation including elements of the above items, coupled with the 1337 flash video and some of the other recruiting stuff, would make an impression on them.
