Sig stats are old - I'm working on it

Yes, I know everyone's stats are either really old or not functioning correctly for newer members. Stanford went and changed something about the stats I think, and it messed up the whole update system. I posted about it on the community board and hopefully I will be able to find a fix quickly.

On a more positive note, I believe I fixed the stat generator so that from now on the stats will update every two hours automatically like they used to before this whole mess started.

Watch for an announcement when I will ask you to either replace your sig, or make a slight edit to them. Thanks for your patience while I bork code and duke it out with Stanford.

    Yeah, funny... :scratch:

    Right when I pass a major milestone. I'm dying to see it in my stats - it's not official until I see it in my S-M sig! :tongue:

    "OMFG" was my first thought just as Thrax manages to get to No. 1 with only 1725 wu's. :wow2:

    Then I saw it was h4XX0red ;D

    Thrax Score:103899.17 WU:1725 Rank:1

    :scratch::scratch:;D

    That's OK - as long as the bribe was substantial and is used to purchase more donated Folding computers!

    No, it turns out a quirk in the code gave me false hopes. It's not any better than before.

    All that has really happened is Stanford went and mucked with their time stamps (READ: THE MOST FRIGGIN' RIDICULOUS PART OF LASSE'S CODE) so now I can't update the stats. I've been posting on the community board to try and get a handle on what needs to be fixed to make it all work again.

    I've sent Prime a PM requesting he look into a chron job to keep the sigs up to date until the return of Lasse.

    I think it's "cron" not "chron"

    but anyway... thanks for working on it. for the time being I'll just cry about being in 300 something place again...

    I think it's "cron" not "chron"

    "chron" is short for chronometer - used in that sense for the operation that needs to be performed, if I'm correct

    Yeah, "cron" is the mishapen version ;) "Chron" as in "chrono," the Latin prefix for "time."

    //edit: I surely hope that was a joke, shwaip :p
