Paging Mr. Thrax... (56k warning!)
I do believe you said something about a 2.5GHz TBred not being enough to beat your 3DMark score...

Is that going to be your regular setup? or are you going to take the 119CFM fan out and clock it down a bit?
My system is running @ 2.362 (214x11, though it's really 214.77) right now. Until I get a better fan I know that's going to be my limit . . . that might be the limit even with a better fan. We'll see.
// Edit: What is the AGP bus set at? If you change it to 70MHz do you think that would help any? You know Thrax probably isn't going to just sit there and let you beat his score without a dog fight.
:kneel:
btw did your system go :woowoo: when you got up to those crazy speeds??

18400 is my new target score. I can't let this crap slide. Somehow I'm going to get 18400.
Fresh install.
//edit:
I just noticed that your GPU core was 41MHz faster than mine, Geeky. There's your extra 130 3dmarks you beat me with. I have an old Radeon from February that doesn't go past 351 very nicely... Feh. I'll beat you anyways.
But for benchmarking purposes, it's bearable
Cyrix, no it didn't. BUT, when I went to shut it down, it said "I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that" and made me unplug it
Thrax, I guess I'll just have to overclock it to 2.6GHz then
bothered.
Sounds like the SBC guys there are as big of morons there as they are here. The worst part is having to deal with the real yoyo's that work in their tech help center to get them to schedule a repair. I often wish I could crawl through the phone line and shove my foot up their @$$ while my fist reams their nostrils. (sorry for getting carried away):banghead:
Need any help? ha, ha ,ha!!! All the old scars on my hands are healing up. Need more! Oh yea, I just polished my boots too!
WHOA!!
The "Y" batch is probably the first cheap Barton 2500 that is a 2,5 gig+ proof. Newegg used to have them but they are gone. Only way to find them is from small places like i got them from.
I second that.
