    NEC 3520 is the only one to get. It's only like $4.00 more.;)

    I've been running a Nec like this one (but the 3500, this 3520 is updated a little bit) since Christmas and no problems whatsoever. I've had no problems writing to dvd disks or cd discs with it.

    EDIT: Heh, I see the old Goat recommended the same drive while I was putting this post together. :cool:

    i've been using the Sony DRU-710A Dual Layer burner since christmas, and its been wonderful!!
