Can anyone take a look at these two drives and tell me why the bigger one is less expensive than the smaller one?

The only thing I can think of is the warranty.

No, according to seagate, they both have a 5 year warranty.

Plus, the cheaper one has NCQ!

That's either an error, or good luck on our part. Definitely buy the cheaper one! That's a winner!

    According to Seagate:
Now every Seagate internal hard drive for PCs, notebook computers and entry-level servers purchased from an authorized Seagate Distributor and Reseller will be covered under our unprecedented Five-Year Warranty.
Prime was too quick for me.

    Thanks, guys! :D

I think a lot of it is that 160 GB drives are a current price point. For the past month I have noticed that 160's have been on sale and 120's haven't. About 2 months ago the 120's were about $25.00 less across the board. It seems as though everybody has most of their 160's on sale right now. I could be craked or my gaskets are completely blown but that's my view and I'm sticking to it!
