My new Ghetto folding "box"

I managed to procure some parts for cheap off ebay and from the buy and sell and the result is shown below. A case was far too expensive and all of the components besides the mobo/cpu/ram have problems. The video card corrupts above 640x480, the cd-rom doesn't open, the fan spins for a minute and then stops and grinds and then spins again. Admiteddly the PSU works. To get the CD in the CD-rom I unscrewed the case and placed the CD on the cradle .
She's now folding 24/7 for team 93 @ 2200 MHz (stock sempron cooler currently).
SM17 is having some trouble after a power outage earlier this week. She's got stuck on the last two units, downloaded and started up a new copy of F@H to see if it was maybe a bad core or something.

And I thought my old 850 athlon was ghetto!
Great job getting it all to run.
I ran a 400 celeron @ 450 in a cardboard K7S5A mobo box with a 800mb HDD and a NIC. It sat under the TV in a dorm room and worked well. The only problem was turning it on and off, when you had to use a pocket knife to jump the two pins to turn it on. Talk about taking a stab in the dark.

That server there is running a website off of a 56k
its a celoron 700 64mb of ram gygabyte motherboard with 2 dead ram slots
Btw, the mobo can't turn off on that one XD
The video card needs to sit juuuust right otherwise it doesn't boot.
And that CD is now dead.
Paging Thrax to the thread
