YES IT IS a good deal on deal, but its not SATA. It's regular plain ole ATA. I'm not sure how long ago (I think about 9-10months), I bought my 250gb Maxtor ATA hd from trusty ole CompUSA for $199.99. Today, I can get 70gb more for $40 less!

It's a good price but I just can't stand seeing a beautiful LCD panel ruined by an analog-only connection. DVI makes a very distinct difference in quality

really? I have a dvi port on my video card, but my cheapass crt monitor is only vga. If i used an adapter, would it make any difference in quality?

It's not going to increase a bad signal, it would only make a good signal worse if you didn't have DVI...

ok but why do you say bad signal? its a perfectly good monitor. I just said crappy cuz its so big

Bad signal meaning lower quality that you get with a monitor with DVI... I'm sure it's perfectly good for a CRT monitor...
