Is this a fluke?

I rebooted my comp and opened EMIII and to my surprise I see a 600 pointer doing 6mins per frame.

I think...actually, I know this is a fluke and probably will go back to 40mins per frame sooner or later but thought I'd share with you gys while it lasts ;D

Er, OK, on a more serious note...

I don't know whether EM is giving you an accurate analysis or not. But I notice that at the top of your EM3 image it states in red letters that a newer version is available. Suggest you update and then see what it says.

I would not trust it Trogan.

    Looks "Fishy" to me. :)

My EM is always wrong after first opening it or rebooting. I think it only gets the timings right after a complete frame is finished. I generaly leave it sitting on the task bar so its up to date.

    mine does the same thing...
but as bothered said.. wait for it to finish the frame adn it should update to the correct timing..

The frame was partially completed when you shut down your computer. When you restarted it only did part of the frame and EM3 thought the entire frame was done in 6min giving you the beastliest computer of all time!;)

    Prof is that pic real?

And on the other end of the scale I should post a pic from the Celeron. It's going at 1:17:30 (1 hour 17 mins 30 secs) per frame on a 44 pointer. It's been like that since the WU started except for two frames were 40 mins. The computer is idle too, nothing else running except EM and FAH. I'll post the pic later tonight. It's not even worth folding with at that rate.

    Prof is that pic real?...
Yes, sir. None of my cheesy photochopping here.

It is an extreme example of how completing a frame right after opening EMIII can skew the average. I wish it could have kept going at that rate... :bawling:

Here's the pic. Sorry about the large size, it's in .bmp format, which is all I can save as with WINME.

    I didn't know that. :D

My other one was merely a "fluke" (or a bluegill, at least).

I'm going to pass csimon :csimon: in an hour or so. ;D

Nope, that is, and there's also a 632 pointer somewhere.

How do you get them? Do you need add some kind of flags?

The highest i've received are 600 pointers...

Just had a look at all WU's and their points. The biggest ones are 600 points.
    Must have 2 WU's. 1 x 600 & 1 x 32 to make it 632. :)
