Microsoft downloads extremely slow!!

I am on an 8mb connection and have noticed recently that downloading updates (after obtaining new system and having to update) that its sooooo slow!!! any ideas guys on whats going on?

    M$'s Porn Server Updates are taking up all the bandwidth, so like always, theres nothing left for customers to benefit from.

    New system, hmm. Did you have an anti-virus program installed, updated, and running before you started your downloads or web surfing? If you went straight to MS Updates, virii or malware probably wouldn't be a concern.
