Nvidia recommends before installing new graphics drivers to go to the control panel and uninstall all nvidia display drivers. Is this really necessary? I have never done this in the past. My drivers seem to work ok. Just want to know what everyone else does....:scratch:

Removing old video drivers before installation of new ones is always a good practice. Chances are it won't make a difference. But those times that it does make a difference, it can make your system unstable.
