Maybe it's just me, but this seems to be a convoluted rebate process. Dont' get me wrong, over the years I've purchased thousands of dollars worth of equipment that involved mail in rebates. It's just that this offer seems different. Maybe that's all it is - just different.
Also, some of these RAM deals lately (I've seen three so far) have qualifiers in the fine print, "Limit, one rebate per household". Not a problem, if you have a name and address for a second rebate payment address.
No disparagement on you, rasputinj. You have served us well with your deal notices. Please keep it up.
honestly, this deal sucks. You pay $60 for no-name ram, have to send two seperate rebates by CERTIFIED FRICKING MAIL? (wtf is that?), and then wait a few months to get two separate $20 checks? BS. You can get 512mb of crap ram from newegg (here for example) for $40 and save yourself the major hassle.
Rebates are starting to piss me off.

I've got nothing against simple, straightforward rebates. I have saved tons of money with them. But I never had to do a nut roll like this offer(?) requires. TigerDirect seems to be a Jekyl and Hyde proposition: part direct and attractive, yet part strange and misleading at times.
yeah I saw this deal yesterday, but I've never heard anything about Ultra brand RAM..
It's not terrible. I have a 512 stick that's been going for two years: running at 229 @ 2.9v. It's got errors on memtest, but my brother uses it now. And he plays games almost constantly - works like a charm.
