What can I do?

So, i have been getting harassing IMs so many times through AIM...the 1st i got their IP address, the next the person was on their sidekick and now they stay on their cell phones and IM me....any way to track it down??

    Either block their usernames, or allow contact only from those on your buddy list - at least that's what I would do.

    What if you switched to MS Messenger, or ICQ? Ditch the cellphone and get a new service? And the question begs to be asked? Why have they targeted you? I'll admit, I'm very inexperienced with online chat, so don't take my post as an accusing finger at you.

    I've been trying out the beta of the new AIM, called Triton... it's got a button in chat windows for reporting spam.
