which Card to buy?

Which card would perform better? 2x6800gs in sli or 1x7800 gt?

    2x 6800GT's in SLI are far worse than 1x7800gt

    Actually, they're pretty close. Given the price of SLI, however, I'd definitely go with the 7800GT.

    I can buy the 7800gt Extreme which is £253 or 2x6800gs (not GT) for £300 so i would spend the extra £50, but only if the performance is a lot better than a 7800gt. Anyone have any idea?

    I was just looking at this lineup.

    edit: and "far worse" was a poor choice of words :p
