Rundll Error - Help!

edited November 2005 in Science & Tech
Recently cleaned up my daughter's PC that was inundated with spyware, adware, and so on. I used SpyBot and Ad-Aware to clean it. Once finished, I rebooted her PC and although everything appears to be good, I am now getting the following dll error upon booting:

"Error loading EGDACCESS_1069.dll. The specified module could not be found".

I can click 'ok' and go about my computing, but the message always reappears upon reboot. I assume this dll belonged to something that Spybot and/or Ad-Aware removed, but I'm not sure how to stop this message from appearing on boot. Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a leftover DLL from some spyware app. A HijackThis log should reveal the entry and make it easier to remove. Please post a log here.

Listed below, please find latest HiJack This log. In addition to the above problem, I am also getting pop-ups. Maybe you can see something in the log that can remove these. Thanks in advance.

Also, you should go to Windows Update and download all high priority updates including SP2 and the latest version of IE.
