Ok, I've ha 2 of these go out on me now.
Is there a better replacement fan/heatsink combo or just a fan that will work on these.
It can't be loud and it can't take up any more room than the factory one does, I have a card in my first 64 bit PCI slot and the space next to the AGP port is pretty close...

Its a VisionTek modle from 2001, I think it was 2001... hummm how time flys...

Thanks,

How about replace the thing for a $82 Ti4200?

That or mount a CPU HSF on it.

without taking up another PCI slot? The 1coolpc RTHO fan is the only thing I can think of that might even POSSIBLY fit... you're talking about <15mm of space here...

    Cool thanks guys.

I think that I'll go with one of the vantecs.

I'm wondering about the IceBerQ vs. the IceBerQ-4

They both are rated for the GF3 cards. I really don't need the litte lights in the 4 model but its fan is a little faster... I noticed that the IceberQ is 11.5mm or so and the IBQ4 is 14.---mm

I'm wondering if the 4 is almost too big for my application and how much I would benifit from the 4 vs. the regular model...

Anybody using or tried either or both of these?

If the overall gain is minimal I might just go with the regular IceBerQ but since I am buying I want to get the best one for my application...
