Clear our your temporary internet files and cache. We have upgraded to the latest version of VBulletin and you are probably caching an older version of the Javascript :)

A few others have experienced the same thing. Once done, remember to hit F5 on the forums home page. This will guarantee you are getting the updated code :)

    FireFox Bug:
When I post a Quick Reply in the SVT forum (not sure about the other forums yet), it takes me to my sig (see attachment). I have to click BACK and then REFRESH to see my post. Only happens in FireFox.

I cleared temporary internet files and cache, twice, and it didn't work :(

Thought I'd let you know, Shorty. Thanks :)

Shorty, I've been posting from Mozilla 1.73 in Linux, and today while posting a quick reply in the SVT forum I had Mozilla close, though the post took. This is a FIRST for me under the new code, and have started new threads and had no problems, and have posted before with no problems under the new code.

    Added: Cannot replicate.

Im going to research it at VBullletin and see if what they have as a fix (if there is one) or a method to stop the error :)

I seem to be having the same problem as Trogan, except Firefox shuts down before I get to refresh. I'll try the f5 key in a minute.

Btw, running an older version of Firefox. Also tried to clear cache.

Same here, I just click the address and hit enter to refresh it back to the thread. Nothing's closing on me.

Quick update, it only seems to do it if I use the Quick reply, if I go Advanced I don't have the problem.

I just upgraded to 1.5 to see if that helps since quick reply was crashing my Firefox as well. This message was sent with a quick reply. Lets see if it crashes FF...

    //edit//

Got tossed to my sig. How strange.

The only "hack" that would effect the default install on showthread.php (the effected page & action) and cause this is the "personalised" stickies.

Im going to disable the hack for a couple of days, can all those with problems, please report them :)

There isn't else for me to disable as we only had to two hacks.

Can you test this in IE or opera for me...? Does it happen in either of those browsers..? I need to have this repeatable to send to VBulletin.

Then this is a firefox issue possibly.

Can anyone else reading this thread with the firefox/this issue... please try with IE and see if you can repeat the error :)

Cannot repeat the error in IE, only in FF and only when quick replying. Perhaps it's related to our F@H sigs?

    BINGO!
Just tried it in another thread, if I disable my sig in the quick reply it will post fine. re-enable the sig and it will close ff.
