Windows Wireless Problem

For some reason windows keeps prefilling the incorrect password at a friend's house. I try to connect to his wireless router with the proper network key, and it links up and says limited or no connectivity even if I manually enter the proper key. When I check the properties for the network it always has the wrong key listed. I change it...it changes back. I've tried removing it from the list of preferred networks and manually inputting the correct settings but the password keeps reverting to the wrong one.

Is there a registry entry somewhere that holds the password that I can delete to get this to stop?

Good to see you, LawnMM. I've had a similar problem to that before. Have you turned off all firewalls?

On the hosting end or mine? I'll give it a whirl on my end. Its just annoying because it feels like some kind of bunk registry entry or something I just don't know how to clean it so it stops prefilling the wrong password and defaulting back to it. Ugh.
