Help w/ dual core CPU set up

I have the graphical client with machine ID=1 and the console running as a service as machine ID=2. Is that all i need to do? It just doesn't seem like its right.

    That should do OK, Larry. You could add the -local flag to them but it's not necessary, IMO. I'm running 2 consoles on each of my DC AMD machines and no problems without using the -local flag.

    I've never used the local flag on my HT/dual instance or DC rigs. Just ensure to to give each instance in a given computer a different "Machine ID" number.

    Thanks for the replies! :D It looks like I have it covered then. It does seem like it is taking a long time for the tinker to finish as these did great on my single core CPU's. Right now I have a Tinker and a Gromac running. :D
