motherboard Power/HDD LED, Speaker plugs question

I just have a question on where you connect the power button and LEDs for the front, are mostly all the wires the same colors from different manufact.?? I dont remember

    oh, I mean cases i should day since the wires come from the cases. So yeah, the wires for the buttons/LEDs on the cases. Are they all/ mostly the same.

    just any kind of case if that is enough. Im just curiouse.

    I think there has been some sort of half-hearted attempt at standardizing the colors, but most case manufacturers just label the connectors.

    But then, if it's an Abit motherboard, the printing on the motherboard indicating where the connectors go may be 180 degrees off. (el cheapo Chinese-English translators)

    But with that said, download and study the motherboard manual for your particular model. It will show you exactly where the connectors go.
