I just bought the same damn motherboard yesterday on newegg, and I was going to get that same processor too. Damn the man.

I was thinking the very same thing myself. If it's a d or e stepping pressie, I've very interested. I would like to try some presshot action out, since I've gotten a few new hsf's lately that should be able to handle the heat from those incredibally hot processors.

Please post up the stepping of the P4, Bud.

    Yep, that's a Northwood D1 stepping P4, Bud.

You can find out what it is at Intel's s-spec finder page for the P4 here: http://processorfinder.intel.com/scripts/list.asp?ProcFam=483&NoNav=NO&CorSpd=ALL&SysBusSpd=ALL&MfgTech=ALL&step=ALL&cache=ALL&Pkgtype=ALL&btnFOS=Filter+on+selections

    512k L2 cache and .13 micron process = Northwood; 1 MB L2 cache and 90 nm process = Prescott.

I've traded with Bud before and I can say he's a great trader. I wouldn't hesitate to trade with him again, especially since he's not selling actual feces.

Is the hyper-x just one dimm or 2x256MB?

Bump for a fantastic deal on the mobo combo! If I wasn't tight for cash right now, I'd be all over that!
