Woot.com's ratings aren't great, but don't seem to be particulary bad either.

Maybe I spoke too soon. Here's one customer's and former Woot forums' member writing:
Overall, Woot is a fad and novice retailer whose inexperience shows through the immaturity and frequently downright nasty attitude of its more vocal fans and employees when the ordering process does not function properly, as well as its obvious policy of ignoring customers under the guise of "Geeze, Louise, this stuff is so cheap compared to other places, why are you even complaining?" If you don't mind doing business with that kind of retailer, then you'll love 'em. Otherwise, stick with the more respectful and respectable companies.

Those SFF barebones are showing up on deal sites all over the web. I'm thinking they haven't caught on very well and there's quite a bit of excess inventory of them. Armo, that's not to say you haven't posted a very attractive price - you have, thank you. But apparently, sellers are getting a bit desparate to download those mini boxes.

I expect aspire.comptech to post in here soon. He buys from Woot all the time and sells a lot of it on eBay and makes a pretty hefty profit.

Ive bought from woot about 10 times or so. Im currently using a microsoft desktop wireless elite keyboard and mouse i picked up form them for 35 shipped, It was sold as refurbed but looks brand new aside from a small amount of wear on the mouse skates. My best woot would have to have been when i picked up 9 802.11b pcmcia cards for 35 bucks and then turned around and sold them on ebay for about 90 bucks. A nice 45 bucks of profit in my pocket for about 20 minutes of work.

They may not have the fastest shipping but if something isnt right they will always fix it. I bought something as new and recieved one with an open box out of three. They sent me a shipping label to send the one back, and mailed me a new one.

They get 2 thumbs way up in my book. Keep up the good work woot

$120 bucks for an aluminum case barebones system that looks nice enough that your wife or GF would allow it in the living room as a media PC looks like a deal.
