Actually the 8800 Ultra is faster than the GT :)

This list is wrong. :\ The 8800GT is NOT the best video card from NVIDIA at the moment. That honor belongs to the 9800GX2 > 8800 Ultra > 8800 GTX/8800 GTS (New) > 8800 GT.

You're also missing the 3600, the 3400, etc.

9800GX2 isn't not out yet... so the Ultra still holds the crown...

At the bottom where you state "Best of the Best" for ATI, it should read 3870X2 instead of 3870. All the Nvidia 8800GT cards will outperform the 3870, but not the 3870 dual GPU (X2).

UPDATE: I think it would just appropriate to call the 3870X2 best of ATI. Their are varying views about its performance as compared to Nvidia's top of the line, the 8800 Ultra.

Nvidia & ATI/AMD Graphics Card Guide
Recommend a title change, as it appears this thread is geared towards gaming cards. Otherwise, you would want to include Nvidia Quadro series, ATI Fire GL series, and Matrox professional workstation cards.

Major Update / Overhaul... time for some of us to cry a bit :)

Side note... I'll be readjusting the order based on the current top 10 PC games on the market... making a ton of High end cards get pushed to Mid/High end...

Actually, it's the 8800GTX u-Vex Rev. 2.3 Super Duper Deluxe Neutrino. Skyhook brand is .003% faster and only $50 more.

Unless it's going under a different name, I do not see a 1950Pro on the list.

Radeon HD 3870 X2 "Currently Best ATI PCI-e Card"
    Radeon HD 3870
    Radeon HD 3850
    Radeon HD 2900 XT
    Radeon HD 2900 GT
    Radeon HD 2900 Pro
    Radeon X1950 XTX
    Radeon X1900 GT
    Radeon X1900 XTX
    Radeon X1900 XT
    Radeon X1900 PRO
    Radeon X1900 AIW

I see the XTX, there is no 1950Pro there. Hell, no 1950GT or 1950XT, either.
