Well, if I had to vote for fav's then it'd be

BF1942
BF1942: Desert Combat
UT2K3
Quake 3
Scorched 3d :D

I could mayhaps bring up the PS2 and lay the smack down in Soul Calibur, if anyone needs a new bodily waste disposal unit brutally installed, hehe :rarr:

Any chance of Red Alert 2?

I'm all for some Red Alert 2 action. It's been forever since I've played last but it would be fun to get my butt kicked again.

Vice City Multiplayer :D So far this has gone over pretty good at my lan parties. Currently its only at version 0.2 but its hella fun even in its early stages, and I am sure by Jan there will be newer versions out.

lol, there was a group of my friends fighting outside in the street one time...I saw them when i had the semi, got up to full speed, honked the horn...lol, you should of seen there faces just before i plowed over them :D Talk about owned!

Anyway check it out at:

Or, we could do this the lame-ass way:

Everyone bring all their PC games, and we find out what games are the most common. ;D

I suggest avoiding tournaments because it makes people wait around. The people who are eliminated wait for the tourney to end, and when the rounds end, people who are already eliminated are off playing a new game making the newly-eliminated wait.

Snore.

What about good old Quake 2/Quake 3/Quake 3: Team Arena/Quake 3: Rocket Arena action?

No LAN is complete without Q3A :D

I'll play Quake2 (I demand rail CTF!), but I'd have to dig Q3 up from my backyard (I am NOT kidding)..

I only have an ATI 9000 128MB Sapphire videocard, will this be enough power to run a lot of these games we will be playing?

I just can't justify paying $495+tx/CDN for a 9800Pro at this time. :banghead:

r9000 should run pretty well, but..
theres nothing wrong with playing some HL, CS , quake III even!

NFS POrsche Unleashed is also a great game!

TBonz, don't feel bad - i too have a Radeon 9000 (64mb) .. I think that right before the LAN, in january, a R9700 or maybe even an r9800 will be a lot more affordable. I'll be buying right before the event.

oof. games.

I can bring a crap load of ps2/gc games if ya'll want. though most of the four player games are on the GC.

I have:

- WCIII (getting the FT xpac soon)
- Age of Mythology (err.. xpac I think soon)
- Starcraft (eh... mebbe. gotta find the sucker)
- Halo pc (though.. I haven't tested it yet)

It's slim pickin's on the PC front for me. But I do see myself console gaming. I'm practicing GC SCII so I can *kick some ass.

Jen

*well, at least so's I can last for a few hits...

Q3A is buried in my backyard because the game is so miserable, and such a piss-poor followup on a brilliant series that it belongs three feet underground as I have placed it.
