Site Name Changes - Moving Forward

As part of Short-Media's continued development, one of the key fundamentals is going to change :)

Our name :)

Brian (primesuspect) have thought long and hard about the future of this site. Alot of which has been sent out in email ( aka.. Brian's spam :D ) and changes are continously happening :)

Over the course of the next few months, we are going to adopt a newer name that encompasses a part of both owners names :)

We know this is a big change but the short-media URL's will still work (always!)..

We have secured the primeshort.com and primeshortforums.com domain names, once DNS is propagated, they will work. We won't be changing the style of things, just making it a little more personal :)

We hope you can understand and appreciate this :D

    hrm... name change.

    Why note Prime-Suspected-Shorty.com, or SuspectShorty.com, maybe even ShortyPrime. Or going with a Get Shorty type thing, PRIME SHORTY.COM :D

    I only have one day off this week, so I took this day to do the work! Just didn't realise what damn date it was ;D

    I know the date is throwing people off, but I just spoke with Shorty and this is 100% true. Remember when Google launched GMail on 4/1? Same thing, it's just coincidence.

    I know it the name will be an adjustment, but it will still be the same Short-Me- errr- Primeshort that we know and love.

    hah hah hah....really funny shorty, but you could have at least got a domain redirect to make it look more official...im really kind of disapointed in you :D

    i seriously hope that this is an april fools joke (95% sure it is), but i really wouldn't put it past 'em. maybe shorty just needed an ego boost? :D

    The "Media" in short-media, while an important part of our legacy, is in a way sort of an anchor holding us to the past. With our new Short Media 4.0 initiative, we felt that as a final breakoff from the past, a name change was quite significant. We thought long and hard about the name, and frankly I am honored to have my on-line persona figure into the name of such a great site.
