Hello all,

Going to be upgrading the gf's pc soon, but first i need to do a heart/brain transplant and salvage this great combo from her current system. figured i would post this deal here to offer the good folks at SM the first stab...then on to ebay if it doesn't sell within a few days.

p4 3.0e, s478, 800mhz fsb, 1mb l2, HT enabled
-original box with stock HSF (copper-core)

abit ai7, intel 865pe, s478 mobo
-1 x agp8x, 5 x pci
-realtek alc658 audio
-10/100
-2 x sata150
-uguru
-aftermarket thermaltake tiger1 northbridge hsf
-original box and all accesories

thermalright slk-948u premium copper heatsink
-AVC 92mm, 2100rpm fan included
-original box and all accesories

I have successfully gotten this combo to POST at 240fsb with the right RAM. However, it has been run at stock speeds for the past 6 months+ since my gf has been using it.

combo must be sold together! if i parted it out, prices would go up. i paid over $350 for these parts initially. buy the combo today and save!:)

final price including shipping to the lower 48 states is .....

$175

Pics available upon requeast. Please PM me or post in this thread if you have any questions. Money Order is preferred. Thank you!

Is that processor a hyperthreading model?

What stepping is the 3.0E, ryko? I might be interested if it's an SL7PM for the processor itself. I really don't need the rest, just looking for a possible processor upgrade for my IC7-G machine.

i don't know the stepping off hand. i guess i could yank the slk948u off and check it out for you. really busy today, but i should have some free time later tonight.

unless there is any app that will let you see the stepping?

I don't know of any app that will give you the actual stepping code, since I don't think that is programmed into the proc itself. I'm in no big rush for a Pressie for that rig; waiting for my tax refund, so don't kill yourself to get the stepping for me. :)
