Question about Linux with Windows

I'm wanting to build a linux server and have my windows computers store data there. Is this possible and should i use Samba?

    Yes and Yes. You just set up Samba on the server (easy to do with something like Webmin or whatever) and it will show up like a normal Windows file share on the network.

    If your running debian linux heres a really good guide on setting up samba.

    I use this guide for setting up Samba. Of course, you can also refer to the official Samba site, whose documentation is quite nice.
