    This is really, really hard to believe. Makes me think AMD's lawsuit against Intel is very strong, and Dell knows it, not wanting to be too embarrassed later when they are made out to look like an Intel lackey....which they have been.

    Well from the sounds of it Woodcrest can compete with single opty's but in 4 or more CPU setups it gets spanked... I think this is why Dell is going AMD as they know Intel still has a crappy high end server setup.

    Dell have sold AMD for a long while actually..just not officially.

    Sorry I was so short but I was on my way out from work and home unit is down for the time being. Actually today I'm leaving work early to celebrate ...uh ...my anniversary not dell ...LOL
