MS Outlook: Composing

At work I have to send out statistics through my email, which is Outlook 2003. It is incredibly annoying when I am composing the email and want to go back into my main Outlook Screen to check other emails while composing it.... but can't. INCREDIBLY ANNOYING!

So yeah, anyone know why I can't switch between screens like any other NORMAL PROGRAM? LOL.

    RWB,

Sorry I haven't been around lately. However, since your post has remain unanswered, I'll take up the challenge.

From what I understand, while you're composing a new e-mail, you're unable to go to the main Outlook 2003 screen where your Inbox, Calendar, Tasks... reside. Correct?

Are you using Outlook or MS Word for composing e-mail messages?

So, you're saying you can't minimize the open message that's being written in order to check your Contacts or Calendar, or to check a mail folder?

In the options it is set to "Use MS Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail mesages." but when I make a new message, it looks more like a email composer.

Here is more information, I can compose a new email message and switch back and forth, but when I am doing my statistics for work, we have a program that allows us to view(print) our information in a web browser(IE) and at that point I goto "File>Send>Page by Email" which brings up a window I cannot minimize or switch back to Outlook.

So, just to clarify, You're using a third party program (not part of Office) which opens up the E-mail composer for Outlook 2003?

If you consider IE a third party program. The other program is third party, but all we do is print the information to the screen instead of to paper, which opens an html document in IE which we then send out via outlook.
