Need help Networking Windows XP Pro & Home

I have two computers networked through a Netgear Wireless router. I can see the computer running Windows XP Home Edition on the network, however I can't see the Windows XP professional computer on the network and can't access the files that I have shared on it. I created a network setup disk and set both computers up with it, but still no dice. Is there something I have to do on the XP Professional computer to make file sharing work as easy as it does with my XP Home Edition computer?

    Shut down and restart both computers. Sometimes that will fix incomplete networks in Windows when all correct steps have already been taken.

    Make sure they are in the same workgroup and that proper permissions are set on your shares.

    Can your XP home machine ping the XP professional machine by computer name and ip address?
