I am looking to build a new box. I reallly want to keep things simple. This mobo looks good, comes with everything and runs fine. Is there any reason why I shouldn't get it? This box will be in the family room and my wife wants it quiet so there won't be any room for OC.
Is anyone running this??? Let me know.

In my experience with Chaintech boards (that's what we're talking about here, right? Thought so...) there's nothing wrong with them. Now, admittedly, my "experience" is limited to a few of their 440BX boards, but assuming that nothing has changed, you can expect the board to be reliable and stable. Beyond that, I couldn't tell you for sure, although I've heard that they don't OC well. But, you said that OCing isn't a consideration, so if you can get a good deal on it, I'd say get it.

It's a nice board packed with a lot. Maybe too much for what you are looking for but it doesn OC well.

I am sorry, but I didn't deliberatly hurt your feeling MM.
But no, I never visit the main page except by a link. I live in the forum. But I will go look.
What I was really asking is if there are any issues with this mobo. It would be nice to not have to fart with a sound card, network card, firewire card and so on. All that I'll need are my trusty R8500 and my modem.
