uh, mm... not to nitpick, but:
The AC plug features 4-pin molex and 3-pin molex connections.

Might want to lay off the late-night review sessions for a while... ;D Great review tho. Just don't want to make people think these are AC fans or something...

I'm very ashamed of my box. It's a giant beige box with no personality... other than it whines "fill me with MORE hardware."

Hopefully, that YY-0221 Black Server Cube Case is coming shortly.... then I'll have some real fun :)

BTW, nice article MM. Looks like the BOT is on strike right now... ;)

//Edit: MM, is KoolCase Canadian by chance?

SimGuy... don't worry about it. My computers are all plain boxes as well... doesn't matter tho, because the systems (well, the AMD ones anyhow) are enough to trample pretty much everything this side of a CRAY... ("I've got a P4-3.2" "That's nice. I've got dual 2500s and a 2.5GHz 1800... now what did you say you were running?" "nothing" "Yeah, that's what I thought you said" ;D). Just like with cars- the Benz is big, beige, nondescript, and fast as hell. It's not about how it looks, it's about how much faster than the other guys' it is :D

I really shouldn't complain either... all my systems are packed with hardware that will blow away many systems. It is on the inside that counts :)

Don't discredit the 3.2C though. With the multiplier-unlocked version I ordered tonight, overclocks are going to run like mad. Mmm.... 3.2HT @ 3.8 on SLK-900.

/me drools like Homer Simpson... :)

Oh I know... the P4-Cs are fast. Unfortunately, outside of the "real" enthusiast community (read: those of us who can/want to build their own systems) you run into a lot of people who buy a top-of-the-line Dell or Gateway or whatever and think they're l33t or something. I like popping their bubble.

    //Edit

How The F*** did you get an unlocked P4? (I want one too!!)

LOL I love smacking OEM hardware n00bs into line too, even if I'm running an Intel machine :D

As for where I got that unlocked P4, a private deal with a friend of mine. Traded a Sapphire 9800 NP with 2.86ns DDR memory chips and $100.00 USD for the damned thing. He had it up to 4.2 GHz on his Prometeia. That's next on my list :D;)

oh it's not really the n00bs that bother me (after all, we were all there at one time or another, right?) it's the n00bs that think they're all-knowing that bug me.

And as for that P4... all I'm gonna say is:

    You Lucky Bastid.

    ;D

AC? DC? What does it matter...it's all power anyway...

Need more sleep. MM needs more sleep. Koolcases is out of the US. I'll see if I can dig up a Canadian source for you.
