Hey y'all, been forever since I have posted here but I know that if I need an answer or help with any computer related problem this is the place.

So, I recently have gotten into recording my bass with my computer. Today I tried to burn three tracks onto a CD. The computer uses Windows Media Player to burn songs onto discs. So I went this route and when I clicked the Burn button it hit me with an unknown error and closed the player. I tried it again and got the same results.

So I need help, either to fix the error or get a new method of burning my music onto CDs.

Thanks

I've never been a fan of WMP CD Burning, but you might try downloading the program anew and reinstalling it.

Like Black Hawk EDIT: and Thrax, I'm a Nero fan. :)

Is there a freeware version of Nero? Xander is looking for freeware, unless it's a necessity for something premium.

I've had some luck with SilentNight Micro CD Burner. It's free (for basic features) and the best thing is that it's a standalone program; since you don't have to install anything, if you don't like it you can just delete it. :)

I'll give the Silent Night Burner a try as I am trying to spend as little money on this as I can. Thank you all very much for help.
