Is there a way to get dual boot when i am starting up to go away? I get an option for pro and home. The pro is not there but still gives me the option!

Edit the boot.ini file located in the root of the C:\ drive. The easiest way to edit it is right-click My Computer > Properties, Advanced tab, and click on the Settings button under Startup and Recovery. Near the top of the dialogue box that opens is an Edit button. Click on that and remove the line that looks something like this:
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn

Save the file and you're good to go.
For that, I blame myself.
Unsung hero? Hardly. For that I blame you.
