I might get one, I know the flash will be like 20MB/s realistically, but I think the access times would be awsome, I wanna see real benchies! Not HDTach and crap.
I have a 64MB model just like that (although its obviously much older). Not sure how much faster it would be over a standard IDE drive, but I'd be curious to see some benchies. Way too expensive to take a chance on in my opinion though
This is actually not bad at all for a drive without latency (access time). Couple this with 2gb of ram and it's amazingly fast. Harddrives is todays computers huge bottleneck.
I mean like having 1TB of system memory, non volitile, system memory and storage in one amazingly fast method. Like FD or FB DIMM's I think. You want more... add more

On other pages they have CF to IDE interfaces that allow the CF cards to become IDE drives... maybe only costing like $150 or so. hrmm
