Wondered what you guys make of it?

I have yet to do any crc checks on large files after moving to a portable storage device- but its something I intend to do now!

I've been using USB 2.0 and Firewire ports for backups with my external drive year - nearly every file known to man, without a problem. I've used backup sets for data transfer and for restoring without issues at all. But perhaps other systems have problems. Could be.

I haven't found any problem with mine USB2 drives.
But I will test them, using the SFV Checker or similar tools.

Very unsure if check32 is a good tool ..

    Note,
Zip files will turn up bad if something is wrong, and so far I haven't noticed any problem.

Yes, I too have had no problems what so ever, but thought this was interesting!

Made me think I should consider an alternative backup strategy for a moment, but only a moment :p
