Replaying 'old' games.

Hi all,
I just gave up on Far Cry. I got in the Volcano, on the last level. After doing it 40 times, hampered by the stupid save system I just gave up. Great game but without a quick save, very difficult.
Then I thought I'd play Deus Ex again. I remembered it was fantastic. It isn't. It's good but the 'baddies' either run around aimlessly or stand there while you shoot them 10 times, I don't remember it being like that.
I may try Deus Ex 2 next. I only played it half way through last time, I think something else came out and lead me astray.
Funny how we (I) only remember the good things about games.

Well tomorrow I'll be getting a new sound card so my Windows 98 machine can play MechWarrior 2 WITH SOUND! Plus I'll be able to watch TV again.

Besides MW2 I might try some old Heros of Might and Magic II and Fallen Haven... I love those games.

I think there is a cheat that allows you to save Far Cry at any point... that was one thing (the only thing?) I hate about that game. Same as Pariah- great gameplay, but you play for 45 min and die 10 feet from a save point... ARGH Let's play PC Discus!!!!!!!
