Egg has them at regular pricing.. $659.99 on down for the GTS and $499 on down for the GTS... for what these cards are showing number wise, very worth the upgrade for the hard-core enthusiast. I am guessing the prices will drop once the winder holiday's pass. These sales numbers are going to look real good on Nvidia's balance sheet.... I hear they are selling like hot cakes. Good thing I own a few hundred shares
I have ordered a Geforce 8800 GTX, and here in Denmark no one has it in stock.
I went for the one that was cheapest since most of them are basically the reference design.
The one I have ordered is the Asus 8800 GTX, and it sure is reference since Asus actually nailed the reference design.
But it seems that there is a major shortage of these cards over here, the shop was supposed to have it in stock by tomorrow november 17.
To my dissapointment though that date has been pushed back to november 28.
I wonder whether or not I will be getting this beast before christmas?
The worst thing is that I have a rig just waiting for the GFX, everything else is ready. I hate waiting.
I'm ordering on monday. Still haven't made up my mind on the evga vs bfg thing though. Whichever one it is, it's going to be the 8800gtx flavour, and the supplier has lots of both in stock.

I know what you mean.. I remember when I first built my NF4 Ultra-D and didn't have a PCI-E card to put in it. Good ol' S3 ViRGE for weeks
