Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and look for a file named "Hosts". Attach a copy to your next post.

Open the one without an extension in Wordpad, copy its contents, then paste it here.

Okay, nothing in the HOSTS file causing issues. Try deleting Temporary Internet Files. After that, post a HijackThis log. Someone else had the same problem and a single entry was causing an issue.

Thanks for trying everyone. I tried all these things and nothing worked so I have gone the route of a complete re-install. I am sure it was a networking problem but I couldn't get to the bottom of it!!!
