It's Official....

My girlfriend Mandi and I have been here on Cape Cod visiting with my folks since the Saturday before Thanksgiving. I asked Mandi to marry me yesterday at light house in Scituate, MA. and she said YES!!

It was so cold there! The wind off the ocean must have been around 30-40 mph, making the 38 degree air temp feel much lower!! BRRRR!

I asked her if she would marry me, and took out the ring, she said I had to get down on one knee first...

Which I did, and slipped the ring on her hand, just as a couple guys came around the corner to check out the lighthouse. One of them said "Whoops!! Sorry!!" and went back around the corner.. As Mandi and I walked back the way we came, there was a whole family standing there grinning ear to ear at us as we walked by.

We are both as happy as we can be.

    Cape Cod - that place is great. My whole family loves that place... they've been there like 30 times, I've been 3 or 4. We always stayed at Plymouth Plantation.

    Oh yeah - your thread... my bad...
