Well, I don't think its the Anti-Virus and Firewall you downloaded. I have never come across a blackscreen happening after installing those.

    Dell Dimension 4550
    Pentium 4 CPU 2.40 GHz
    768Mb RAM
    32.4GB hardrive (11.29GB free [30%])
    External 80GBHardrive (99% free)

I fail to see how that matters, it is not video card functionality, nor is anything in my tower broken it has already all been checked. Aside from that a hardware malfunction would effect all three acounts, not just two.

Edit: I apologize for coming across as rude, im just realy irritated right now I just want to know what is wrong so i can freaking fix it.

it can matter hunter, esp. if the video card is having problems..that can cause video (black screen) errors..

Alright i think it has been fixed. It appears that somehow the resident shield for the anti-spyware was activated on one acount but not the others. And inter-feared with a third-party screensaver that i have. The nature of the screensaver caused it to show only on my acount, when i logged in it would show. Which is why if you are only on her acount for a short period of time it wont blackscreen, the screensaver wasnt up. The resident shield has been turned off on ruth's acount and we have not had any blackscreening problems since. :D! thanks so much guys
