Good performance 92mm wanted
I ordered a SLK900 today from SVC which means I can attach 92 mm fans to it now. I am looking for a fan about as noisey as my Mechatronics or a little bit quieter (38dba) but pushes more air.
60-70 CFM would be nice for under 40dba. The mechatronics fan is about the best I could find under 40dba at the time I bought it last summer and I want something similar in a 92mm fan.
I have seen some 92mm fans like the Vantec tornado that does 119CFM at like 56dba but I wont be able to stand that. Then others that run at like 1600 RPM and are whisper quiet.
I am getting an abit NF7-S for Christmas and am thinking I will ask for this as well.
So what I am asking, whats the best 92 mm fan under 40dba?

Now I'm unsure as to weather I should wait for this SP-98, which is supposed to be the "next big thing" in cooling hardware, or the 947u.... or 900a...
:confused2
Sunon KD1209PTB2

look around they have 35dba fans with 56cfm ...a better choise afaik
Thermaltake TT-9025
$10.99
56 CFM @ 35 dBA
2850 RPM, 3 Pin.
The Sunon is out. Not enough air compared to the others.
YSTech had 1 that was at 40 dba moving 66 cfm. 2 others at 37.5 moving 63 CFM.
The Enermax looks like the winner now so far. A bit quieter and only like 3 CFM less than the YSTech.
I would like sometihng in the 60s. I mean I have one now at 53. A 58 CFM fan wouldnt improve much at all for little quietness. And 2 of my roommates are in the 40s anyway so might as well get upper 30s like I have now.
Cant even tell mine is on with theirs blowing.
/edit
the same one smj reccommended
*** 66.? cfm YSTech (but it is only available as a 2 wire so no rpm monitoring.
*** Enermax adj. is certainly a good buy and my 80mm is quiet compared to others of it's size and output.
*** Tornado w/ a controller (getting a little more spendy than I wanted).
Are any of the cheaper controllers like this one any good.
That panaflow doesnt push but a bit more air than mine.
I dont monitor my fan speeds now. The mechatronics 3 pin wire now has a twisty tie on it.

Might be too loud but it does the job!!!:)
I have one
I like the CFM but its too noisey.
Anyone have any input on those I linked above???
Also, any ideas on if the YSTech and Enermax fans are close to the mfgr ratings?
This person needs to be Thaught a lesson in CFM!!!
W(o)(o)t
YSTech ones are good at 80mm, decent CFM and not too loud, so it may be worth looking some more into YSTechs.
We need a fan revolution, computers are just too noisy nowerdays... (and Watercooling is too expensive and lots of work to set up).
