Power consumption, TBird vs Tbread

OK, I can't find the AMD power consumption curves. I will have two boxes, which cpu will draw more power????
1) 1.4 TBird at 1.6
2) XP2600 at 2.18

I have two cases and a large psu and a medium psu. My guess is that the TBird will draw more power.

It all will depend on how much vcore each proc needs to achieve those speeds. The Tbred shouldn't take much more than 1.65v to get to 2.18 whereas the Tbird is liable to need a lot more vcore to get 1.6, so the Tbird will most probably produce quite a bit more heat. Check this page here for the max power consumption of all the x86 procs being or have been produced in the last several years. You can then use this page to check how much more power is dissipated in your proc's overclocked state. Just fill in the blanks on the power formula.

works very well.

Whichever one generates more heat will draw more power.
