It's the card I purchased for my new PC four months ago. It comes with the retail box and packaging. I don't have pictures of the card as I have no other card to put in my system at the moment, and would therefore be SOL on typing this post, but suffice it to say, the card is scarcely four months old, but I'm looking to upgrade to an 8800GTS, or maybe even a GTX if I can stomach it.

If you want to see a picture of the card, go to Newegg. The card is that mint. I'll polish the finger prints, all two of them, off the card for you.

But first I need to see if I can off my old card to fund the new one. :)

The asking price is $300 even -- MSRP is $600, and I paid over $500 for the card brand new. I have no heatware and no ebay record, but Prime and Keebler would come to my house and beat me with a sack of nickels if I screwed you over, so my reputation stands on threat of death.

I prefer check or M/O because I don't have a paypal account (INFORMATION THEFT HOOOOO).

Love,
Thraxy

Thrax is on the level. I'd buy from him no questions asked. I've met him, and frankly, it's not that hard to beat him with a sack of nickels. In fact, I think a roll of nickels would do the trick.

They should do it anyway.;D Had I known this before my order I would have bought this card in a heartbeat.

I don't see that card at Newegg ...here's a link to it at the eVga site though.

    MSRP = $599

I think that's a fair price for it, Thrax. Just looking at ebay, they seem to be selling for more than this, plus shipping.

And if Thrax screws the buyer on this deal, I will personally reimburse the buyer myself. That's how much I trust Thrax to be a man of his word.

And Thrax, if it came to that, me and my Uzi would also be up to a little ride up north too.:nudge::crazy:

I may be interested in taking that beast off your hands. It's time to put my 7800 out to pasture. If I do the forex thing then your offer comes in as one of those once in a lifetime too good to miss deals.

I don't have much in the way of heatware and e-bay feedback either so that makes us about even :vimp:
If you happy to ship the card across the big pond, drop me an PM.

Oh one question...will that card ever be able to run direct X10?

I'll have to look at shipping costs and see how much that cuts into the total cost, Winga.

    It'll never run DX10; it's DX9-only.

Shipping cost is anywhere between $34 and $48 depending on how it's posted and I always pay the bulk of that as an extra. Normally the seller would deduct the postage that would have been spent had it been posted in the US.

Mmmm the Dx9 makes me a bit uneasy. I've posted my concerns in a more appropriate thread. Maybe someone can spin a bit more insight on it.

I see, so you're saying I'd pay standard fare as if I were to send it to the farthest point in the contiguous US from me (Southern California), and you pick up the rest?

Word...can't wait to have a real gaming card again. Haven't had a "fast" card since 2000 when I bought a Geforce 2 Ultra for $550. :O

No, there's only a 14 FPS (average) spread between the GTS and GTX. Was not worth the money.
