Hey all, a very very long shot, but advised to try by Pterocarpous...

I should state firstly that I am in the UK - I get a feeling this is a US dominated part of the forum...

My ancient (purchased in 2000) dell pc has a suspect psu.

It's a dell XPS T700r, the technical details on the dell site stipulate that its a 200w model, as Pterocarpous says, its an AT type, and being dell has its own special connections (doh!)

So yeah - hit me up if you have one lying around!

I've got a Dell 200W pulled from a Dimension V400, Dell M/N PS-5201-1D, DP/N 00006081. I kept it around as a spare for another machine that died and it's just been sitting in my parts box. IIRC the Dell Dimension V, R, and T series all used the same supplies, but just in case this one has the 20-pin ATX-style P1 connector and the 6-pin blue & black AT-style P7 connector.

    Shipped from Austin, TX.

Wow, I didn't expect a reply, let alone one this quick.

I still need to pop the case open and get the exact specifics, and remind myself of the connectors.

In the thread where I was discussing my psu I mentioned there may be a possibility an old pc my brother has in his loft will be of use to me - its a dell a couple of years older than mine - I may be able to get the psu out of that - im contacting my brother tomorrow, but not sure when ill be able to pick it up...

    Ill keep you posted :)
