I have a harddrive that isn't being detected by Windows

Its a Seagate 7200.8 300GBs
SN: 3NP0VDX2
Model: ST3300831AS
Fireware: 3.03

Its in a SATA connection. I have two harddrives in SATA the other being a Seagate 7200.9. It never has a problem being detected.

About 6 months ago the harddrive wasn't being detected. Then I just turned it on like a day later, and it was being detected. I hadn't had a problem since, till now.

Now every time it boots, it isn't being detected.

Do you think its a power problem? i have a 250Watt ATP.

I have 2 harddrives, 1 Cdrom, 1 graphics card (requires it own power connection, 1 audio card, 2 rams, and a CPU of course.

What do you guys think it could be?

I didn't know a 250 would power anything more than a couple USB ports. What motherboard, CPU, and video card are in your computer? I think your guess about power starvation may be correct. I can't think of any other reason a hard drive would pop in and out of recognition except for a power cable or signal cable that is slightly loose.

Ya, I think its power too,

but the problem is I have a MicroATX, and that was the strongest ATP (power box right?) I could find.
