Would ramsinks attached with AS epoxy void the warranty on a R9800 pro sapphire? AS is permanent... but doesn't really change any fundamental specs of the vidcard
I would assume it would void the warranty of the card, because that changes the card from the stock configuration. Sending it back like that would show you made modifications/worked on the card and would probably void the warranty. If you could clean it though, then it wouldn't be a problem.
Yes, 100% it voids the warranty. Any modifications to the card (whether it's ramsinks, changing the heatsinks, flashing the bios, painting your PCB, etc..) will completely void the warranty on your video card.

Does it void the warranty? To summarize the above posts in a word (as Al did): Yes.
ANY changes to the card, as SimGuy said, voids the warranty. The trick here is to only make changes that can be err... "un-changed" should you need to RMA the card.
