Forum upgrade = downtime

I'm going to be upgrading the forums in the next 24 hours (assuming my dry run goes alright). When it's time, I'll need to shut down the boards temporarily to keep you all from b0rking it while the files are copying and such. I'll try to tell you of a more-exact time beforehand, but I might not :p It shouldn't be down for…

Personally, I like it better this way.

Also, the news links are double spaced, making them take up more space than needed.

edit: And the user online/report post stuff would probably look better centered.

I left the stats at the bottom on purpose - it actually took extra effort to do that, heh.

I'm in the process of redoing the header at the moment so don't mind the double-spaced news for now...

If you're bored and want to read about what new features were added by the upgrade... it's quite long.

Note that we don't have AJAX enabled, so those features don't apply.

Slick graphics stuff that doesn't require a page reload. When you poke someone on Facebook and that window popups up and does it without you needing to go to a different page anymore - that's Ajax at work.

Gen Keebler Sir,
Is it my new DL of Firefox 2.0 that is making some forum pages about 30" long or just an adjustment needing to be made to the site setup?
The pages are really stretched out width wise.
I have a 20.5" widescreen and I'm only getting half of the window.

All seems to be fine now, although I haven't gone into all the forums.
BTW, I really like the new setup.

It's not you, it's other people's sigs. Tell me which user(s) it is an I'll fix it. You cut off their name in that image so I can't tell.
